Before pairing
Confirm your Vonode node is current, the SSH gateway is reachable for QR pairing or the HTTPS endpoint is reachable for Manual Login, and the pairing QR has not expired. Manual Login requires a system-trusted HTTPS connection.

Notifications
Allow notifications in iOS, keep the node’s relay grant enabled, and confirm the node can reach push.vonode.640724.xyz.
Calls and media
Allow microphone access, verify the node reports voice readiness, and remember that carrier and hardware support vary. Vonode is not an emergency service.
Information to include
- App version and iOS/iPadOS version.
- Node version and a redacted diagnostic report.
- The exact time and visible error message.
- Whether the issue occurs on Wi-Fi, cellular data or both.
Never email APNs tokens, passwords, pairing secrets, private keys, full SIM identifiers, message content or recordings.
Compatibility
The app requires iOS or iPadOS 17 or later and a compatible user-operated Vonode node. Hardware, SIM plans, carrier service, VPS hosting and network fees are not included with the iOS app.
