Review Vonode without external hardware

This review environment demonstrates the app’s interface and node-management workflows using isolated synthetic data. Production notification and calling paths require a compatible real node. It cannot contact a real carrier, SIM, modem, person or user node. Camera access is used only if the reviewer chooses QR scanning; the manual code requires no camera access.

Review steps

  1. Install the submitted Vonode build and launch it.
  2. In App Review, tap Scan App Review QR Code and scan the permanent QR.
  3. If camera access is unavailable, enter appreview in App Review code, then tap Open App Review Demo.
  4. Confirm the node named [DEMO] Home Gateway.
  5. Use Reset at any time to restore the initial dataset.

No account or password is required in the app.

What is synthetic

Hosts, devices, phone numbers, messages, traffic, call history, eSIM profiles, diagnostics and automation results are generated for review. SMS, USSD, eSIM, automation and device-control actions update only the isolated review session.

Notifications and calls

The Review Demo notification and call actions are visibly synthetic and stay inside the isolated session. The submitted full app also supports ordinary APNs for SMS alerts and PushKit with CallKit for real incoming calls from an authorized user-operated node, including background delivery. Those production paths require a paired real node and are not triggered by the synthetic Review Demo.

Permanent version 1 descriptor

The QR uses the stable version 1 descriptor accepted by current and earlier review-enabled builds. Its fields and compact JSON encoding remain unchanged for backward compatibility.
